Did you know that February is CTAE Month?
During February, schools across Georgia celebrate career, technical, and agricultural education (CTAE). CTAE Month is a public awareness campaign designed to recognize the value, achievements, and accomplishments of CTAE programs across the country.

Four Banks County FFA Members were recognized as part of the champion Forestry CDE team at the 95th National FFA Convention. These members include Matt Sanders, Carlie Cochran, Martin Suggs, and Luke Johnson. Sanders was named 2nd highest individual in the nation, while his teammate, Johnson (8th), was also recognized in the top 10 highest individuals.

members include Matt Anderson, Luke Edwards, David Adams, and William Segars. Anderson was
named 2nd highest individual in the nation, while his teammates, Edwards (3rd ), Adams (3rd), and Segars(7th ) were also recognized in the top 10 highest individuals.

Spelling Bee District and School Winners Recognized at January Board of Education Meeting.

The Georgia Parent Survey was developed to measure parent perceptions of school climate at your child’s school. Your opinion is very important to us. Your survey responses are confidential and will be combined with the survey responses of other parents at your child’s school to identify areas in need of improvement. It should only take ten or fifteen minutes to complete the survey.

Banks County teachers returned from Christmas break on January 3rd and began the week with district-wide professional learning.
