Banks County Schools would like your feedback to assist us as we are currently in the improvement planning process for the upcoming school year. Please take a few minutes to answer the following questions. We value your feedback as a parent, school partner, and participant in our annual needs assessment process. Responses will be summarized and analyzed in order to plan for the next fiscal year.

Banks County High School's GHSA State Runner-Up and Region Champs Girls Basketball team, Banks County Wrestling team, and Third Place State Finisher Pepper Davis were recognized during the March Board of Education meeting.

The night was also memorable for the Banks County Board of Education members. They were recognized for School Board Appreciation Night. Schools made videos and a banner in appreciation of their hard work and dedication to our school system.

Banks County Elementary and Banks County Primary Schools were proud to participate in the Educator Workshop sponsored by the UGA ALEC (Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communication Department), Georgia Farm Bureau, the University of Georgia, and the Georgia Foundation for Agriculture on March 17, 2023.   The program provides teacher collaboration and cooperation to support agricultural education across Georgia.

Banks County High School will host Volleyball Tryouts from May 2nd through May 4th from 3:30-5:00 pm. Individuals trying out must have a current physical on file and proof of insurance. Tryouts will be held at Leopard 2.0.

The Lady Leopards finished the season with a historic run at the state championship title.

Two teachers from each school received a Random Acts of Kindness Gift from the Banks County Chamber last week to help celebrate World Kindness Day on February 17th.

Winners included Stacy Hobson and Regina Smith from Banks County Primary School. Emily Peek and Christy Pruitt from Banks County Elementary School.
Julie Parker and Jennifer Fitzgerald from Banks County Middle School. Curtis Chitwood and Heather Martin from Banks County High School.
