Banks County faculty visited the renowned Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta, Georgia; Georgia Power sponsored the trip. The visit excited the faculty and inspired a commitment to bring new ideas to Banks County, contributing to the continuous improvement of education in the district.

Make plans to attend our Banks County High School Symphonic Band and Concert Choir on December 12th.

The middle school bands will perform at 6:00 pm, and the high school portion of the program will begin at 7:00 pm.

This will be an awesome event showcasing our talented program!

Banks County Schools in Georgia has received a $1,000 mini-grant from the Georgia Agriculture Education Foundation for its elementary agriculture education programs. This grant will help the school enhance its agriculture teaching through hands-on projects and new learning materials. The school was chosen for its innovative approach to teaching agriculture.

Banks County celebrated Kandy Parks Night at their first home basketball game against East Hall, honoring Kandy Parks for his 36-year tenure with the program. The community recognized his dedication by naming the "Kandy Parks Court."

Maysville Baptist Church recently led the Operation Warm Coat initiative at Banks County Elementary School, where they donated over 800 coats to ensure each student had one for the winter.

Banks County Board of Education recognized each school's Teacher of the Year and Classified Person of the Year at the last BOE meeting on November 16th.
