Job Description
This posting is for an Assistant Director of Technology. Primary duties will involve managing and maintain the day-today operations of the Technology Department as well as, but not limited to,: Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows and Linux Serves Installation, configuration, and maintenance Virtualized Server environments Installation, configuration, and maintenance of physical and cyber security systems Assist in development of procedure Assist in professional development of technology staff Being a technical resource to technology staff Project managementConduct walkthroughs with vendors\installers Attending meeting when the Director is unavailable Ticket management Other duties assigned by the Director
Requirements HS diploma 3+ years of experience in a support environment Knowledge of networking (VLAN, firewall, routing, standards) Knowledge of wireless networking (frequencies, standards, RADIUS, 802.1x) Excellent soft skills Ability to work independently and in a team Ability to research and learn independently Working knowledge of relational databases Understanding of electronic form design Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP Recommendations Previous experience in a K-12 technology support environment Experience with Google workspaces Experience with VoIP systems Knowledge of Infinite campus Experience with education-based SSO solutions such as Clever and Classlink Experience with Canvas Experience with Audio Enhancement Experience with Centegix Experience installing/deploying hardware and software solutions Experience with physical security systems/equipment and their interoperability standards Experience with access control systems Experience with scripting Knowledge of Audio/Video systems Experience with Mobile Device Management Systems
