Banks County School System has named Denise Paramo, a Kindergarten teacher at Banks County Primary School, the September Roaring Rookie for the 2024-2025 school year. Paramo has been recognized for her exceptional ability to inspire joy and curiosity in her young students.
The Roaring Rookie Award is sponsored by The Jax Shack in Homer, Georgia, owned by Tony and Amanda Bedford. Paramo received a gift certificate from The Jax Shack and a Roaring Rookie certificate.
